Tate was born and raised in the South End of Burlington, Vermont. He made his way through the Burlington School District, graduating from Burlington High School in 2021. After that Tate decided to attend the University of Pittsburgh with a desire to experience living in a more urban environment. His intentions were unclear when he arrived at Pitt but by the end of his Freshman year he had declared his major as Architecture.
Tate enjoyed coming home in the summers to spend time on the lake and in the green mountains. After his Sophomore year at Pitt he secured a summer internship with DWA. He was thrilled to enter the built environment in Burlington after being surrounded by it his entire life. Alongside his coworkers, Tate began his journey into the architectural world, learning and developing his skills as a young designer. After graduating in April 2025, he returned to DWA full-time as a designer.
Outside of school and work, Tate enjoys traveling as much as he can. Coincidentally life has led Tate to Spain, where his best friend took a gap year, girlfriend studied abroad and roommate studied abroad. After visiting his friends Tate became very interested in the Spanish Culture and would like to practice there at some point in his life. Throughout his entire life Tate has played basketball and is a Boston Celtics fan.
